What's In My Makeup Bag?

What's in my makeup bag: Nars, HD Brows, MAC, Revlon, Benefit, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Make Up For Ever and Rimmel.

It's been quite a while since we shared the contents of our makeup bags so today I thought I'd rummage through to show you the products that I can't live without.  While I may have lipstick changes and occasionally pop on an eyeshadow, these are the products that I rely on and reach for everyday.

For my base I can't get enough of my NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Mont Blanc.  It gives a lovely natural base with just the right amount of coverage to cover your imperfections and redness.  Plus 1 bottle usually lasts around 6 months so I hardly ever have to buy foundation.  For any blemishes or under eye circles I love using the Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer in 03 Light Beige.  I've noticed a huge difference in my spots since using this and I think it's all down to the applicator as it's not a stick form.  I love the fact that it can be layered and it's even waterproof so it's perfect for the Summer.  To set everything in place I always rely on the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent, which I've been repurchasing for over 10 years!  I dread to think how much I'd spend on powder if this was a high end product.

For my everyday brows I usually reach for the HD Brows Eye and Brow Palette in Foxy.  Using a powder for brows is so much quicker and the middle shade is the perfect match.  I only wish they'd sell the individual shade instead of having to buy an entire palette every time I run out.  When I have a little bit more time to get ready I love using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Medium Brown which gives me a much more defined brow.

I switch through mascaras quite a lot but my current daytime mascara is the Benefit They're Real! Tinted Mascara Primer.  As it's a tinted primer it can be used just on it's own so it gives a gorgeous subtle look to the lashes.  It also feels pretty weightless so it's perfect for a long day at work.  If I want a little more volume, I love the Smashbox Indecent Exposure Mascara.  It's a great lengthening mascara but it makes your lashes very black and defined.

I don't always wear blush or bronzer every single day but when I do I always reach for my NARS One Night Stand Palette.  I do own other NARS cheek palettes but I love the size of the powders in this palette and it's slimmer so it fits easily into my makeup bag.  My cheek shade of choice is usually Deep Throat which is the middle bottom shade in the palette and I love contouring with Laguna, the bottom left shade.

During the Spring/Summer months I tend to go towards more natural lipstick shades and my ultimate favourite is the MAC Syrup Lipstick. It's a gorgeous your lips but better shade with a sheer finish so it feels really comfortable to wear.  As you can see from the picture, it's been well loved! Alternatively, if I'm not feeling the sheer look then my go to shade is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Blushing Mauve which looks pretty much the same!  I think these two lipsticks will be the first ever shades I'll have to repurchase from using the entire lipstick.

That is what's currently in my makeup bag!  Let me know your favourite makeup bag products at the moment.
