Tanya Burr Mischief Managed Nail Polish

Tanya Burr Mischief Managed Nail Polish

Whenever I hear about celebrities bringing out their own products, I'm always a little bit sceptical about the quality of the products.  With YouTube personalities becoming just as big, I feel like I applied that same scepticism to them also which was a little unfair.  It's taken me a while to get on board but after trying products with an open mind, it's safe to say I was pleasantly proved wrong.  Here's why you need Tanya Burr's Mischief Managed Nail Polish.
Mischief Managed is your typical classic red shade from the Tanya Burr Eye Candy collection.  It's one of those shades that everyone can get on board with and a great place to start if you're new to the range as I was.

I spoke a little bit about being sceptical about the quality and for me this was mainly down to the packaging.  It just shows that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.  To me it looks sort of like the polishes you got in little Christmas sets as a teen which lead me to the conclusion that the quality would be similar but that isn't the case.  I can understand the reasoning was most likely to keep costs down but I would have liked to see something a little sleeker, but then again I'm not the target market.

Packaging aside, the formula of this polish is spot on.  It applies quite creamy and easy to blend but just the right thickness so it sets without waiting an age for it to dry.  It's also fairly opaque so I'd say two coats is the perfect amount.

As for longevity, I did apply the Seche Vite top coat over it but it lasted far longer than I ever expected it to.  I got around 5 days wear before any sign of chipping and even then it was very minimal.

If you were like me and weren't too sure about the range, give it a go.. you won't be disappointed.  I think I might need to stock up on some more..
