Nailbox June 2015

Nailbox, Nail Polish Subscription Box: June 2015

While some beauty subscription boxes have been a bit hit or miss for me over the years, if there's one I can get behind it's Nailbox.  A subscription box for all things nail polish related.  Every month features a selection of 3-4 nail polishes and 1-2 nail tools or treatments with new shades being sent out every month.  Here's a little taster of the June edition of Nailbox.

The June 2015 Nailbox is based around June's Hot Hues including 4 polishes and a cuticle remover with a great selection of nail polish brands, well over the £15 price of the box!

First up we have Essie's Roarrrrange which is a bright Summery orange.  I actually don't own many orange shades so this was a pleasant surprise.  The next bright shade in the box is Tanya Burr's Mischief Managed polish which I've been meaning to try out for quite some time!  It's the perfect warmed toned red for Summer.

If bold shades aren't your thing, also included in the box is the Nails Inc Gel Effect in Colville Mews which is a gorgeous nude shade.  It's not too far off the shade Porchester Square so if you're a fan of that cult classic, you'll love this. I'm a big fan of the Gel Effect polishes so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this shade first.  To top it all off, included in the box is the cult classic Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat which shockingly as a beauty blogger, I've never actually tried before despite it's glowing reputation.

The tool in this months box is the Elegant Touch Professional Cuticle Nipper which you use to remove your cuticles and cut hangnails.  Personally I don't really have a cuticle issue so I won't get too much use out of this product in that sense.  However, I do think it's wonderful for trimming your nails.  I sadly broke my nail for the first time in years recently and it really helped having a tool to get right up close to the break so that my nail wasn't catching on anything and tearing further.

Overall, I'm really impressed by the Nailbox for June.  I was half expecting budget brands but with the inclusion of Nails Inc, Essie, Seche Vite etc, it really does make the box worthwhile for me as these brands aren't cheap!  If you're looking to try the Nailbox for July, make sure you subscribe before the 22nd of July when the box gets shipped.  July's contents are a secret but they have hinted that the theme is Tropical Treats so I'll definitely be looking out for that!

Where to buy: Nailbox Subscription Box - Nailbox (£15.00 per month)
