July Favourites

July Favourites

It's the end of July which means it's July favourites time!  July is always an exciting month for us, we've both had our 24th and 25th birthdays recently which were lovely and it's always a pretty chilled out month.  This month I've been trying out lots of new products and discovering old favourites so here's what's made the favourites list this month.
Something I can't get enough of lately is Coconut Oil.  I put off trying it for such a long time but now I completely believe the hype around it.  I've mainly been using it as a facial cleanser but it's been so great and gentle on my sensitive skin.  I wasn't a huge fan about the oil pulling trend but I'm excited to find out what else I can use it for.

My skin has been looking a little dull and in need of a pick me up.  I hadn't used overnight skincare products in a while so I decided to reach for my Emma Hardie Amazing Face Age Support Instant Radiance Mask and I fell back in love with it again.  It's basically a gentle moisture mask which you can apply overnight and your skin looks so hydrated and plump in the morning.  I can't get enough of it.

My hair tends to be a bit of a nightmare during the warmer months so I like to pile on the haircare products but the main one I reach for is the Bumble & Bumble Repair Blow Dry Cream.  This stuff takes my hair from it's frizzy state to sleek and straight in a tiny little amount.  I also love that it's lightweight and it's pretty difficult to use too much of the stuff so it's perfect if I'm in a rush and don't have time to fix my hair.

After struggling to find my shade in the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer I decided I would try something different and I've been loving the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer.  Although it doesn't cover blemishes quite as well, I've been loving the lighter texture and it seems to work with my foundation instead of sitting on the top of it.  I feel like my skin has improved a lot since switching too so I was really happy with the results.

In an attempt to use up some mascaras, I fell back in love with the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara.  Personally I like it better than They're Real as it has great lengthening powers and I do love the mini size of it.  Am I the only one who wishes mascaras were sold in this mini size? You have so much more control this way!

My non-natural shade lipsticks hadn't been receiving much attention lately so I decided to bring out my trusty MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick to inject some colour into my makeup routine.  It's a gorgeous coral amplified lipstick with a cream sheen finish so it's incredibly easy to pop on.  I also love that you can apply it straight from the bullet or dab it on for a softer finish, it's a great versatile lipstick everyone should own.

I hope you enjoyed my July favourites, let us know in the comments below what you've been loving lately.
