Barry M Sunset Nail Paint in Fuchsia Generation

Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Nail Paint in Fuchsia Generation
I'm not one to buy a ton of nail shades at once, I tend to dip my toes in the water with one shade then once I'm hooked I go back for more!  After being really impressed by You Drive Me Navy, I decided that I had to pick up another shade in the form of Barry M Sunset Nail Paint in Fuchsia Generation.

Fuchsia Generation is one of the 7 shades in the Sunset Daylight Curing range, with a gorgeous deep fuchsia shade and glossy finish.  Just like the previous shade I tried, it applied really evenly on the nails but I do think the formula for this was slightly thinner than You Drive Me Navy.

All you need is two coats of the colour, pop on the topcoat and you can achieve gel like nails at home.  I think the effect is really convincing and does last longer on the nails than regular polishes however, it's not quite perfect.

With this shade, I found that it started to chip along the cuticle edge.  I think this happens due to the setting of the topcoat, where you need to make sure the topcoat goes completely over the edge to ensure the entire nail is covered to prevent this.

All in all, I'm still a big fan of the Sunset range, but the chipping along the edge is something you need to watch out for!

Where to buy: Barry M Sunset Nail Paint in Fuchsia Generation - Boots (£4.99)
