Ciate Orange Choc Pot Nail Polish Remover

Ciate Orange Choc Pot Nail Polish Remover
As a nail polish addict, I could definitely get on board with the nail polish remover pot trend.  There's something quite satisfying about dipping your finger in the pot without needing multiple balls of cotton wool.  Now that other nail brands are getting in on the trend, I thought I should see what else is out there and finally settled on the Ciate Orange Choc Pot Nail Polish Remover.  Here's how I got on with it.

The first thing that caught my attention was the choice of scents.  Ciate's version comes in two scents: Orange Chocolate or White Chocolate but I felt that Orange Chocolate would be the one for me.  Now while it does have a hint of chocolatey goodness, I feel that the nail polish remover smell completely takes over so if you're buying specifically for this reason, you'll probably be disappointed.

The pot itself is very small, much smaller than others I've come across (around half the size of Bourjois' version) which might not be great for some but it makes it far easier to fit into your handbag or suitcase.

As for effectiveness, It does remove nail polish easily, however I do feel like it could use slightly more polish remover as it doesn't feel like it contains that much.  Though I guess you could just top it up every now and then!

All in all, it does the job and is a great size for travel.  However, if you're only going to be using it indoors, I do feel like Bourjois' version is slightly more long lasting and cheaper too.
