15 Ways To Beat Blue Monday

Blue Monday
It's the third Monday in January and that can only mean one thing, Blue Monday.  It's known as the most depressing day of the year.  So if you're feeling a little gloomy today, I thought I'd share some of my favourite pick me ups to brighten your day.

1. Leave a comment on your favourite blogs, share the love!
2. See a movie with friends.  My recommendations? The Imitation Game or The Theory of Everything.
3. Pop on some fresh new nail polish and a red lip, instant pick me up.
4. Give your pet a hug. Don't have a pet? Entertain some cats by controlling their toys via your keyboard!
5. Choose the song you'd sing for your X Factor audition, belt it out.
6. Put on your most uplifting perfume, here's a few of my favourites.
7. Blow some bubbles in a strangers garden.
8. Log into your old myspace account, laugh at your bad haircuts and makeup techniques.
9. Get some pizza, pizza solves everything.
10. Change your bed sheets, nothing better than getting into a cosy bed after a long Monday!
11. All 10 seasons of Friends are on Netflix, need I say more?
12. Get organised! Even if it is rearranging your Pinterest boards..
13. Make a playlist of songs that you associate with good memories.
14. Take a social media break, get some fresh air.
15. Do a small act of kindness, whether it's giving someone a compliment or sharing your last biscuit.
