Zoya Song Nail Polish

Zoya Song from BigGreenSmile.com
Zoya is one of those brands I've always wanted to try but sadly they've never been easy to locate here in the UK.  However the day has come when I can finally pop some in my basket as BigGreenSmile.com have made it possible to have them shipped to the UK for as little as £2.50.  With 40+ shades to choose from, it was tough but Zoya Song* made the cut.

The thing that's always attracted me to Zoya is their natural take on nail polishes.  Their range is vegan and free from a lot of nasties like formaldehyde, toluene, DBP and camphor.  The shade, Song, is a very bold, vibrant blue with very fine blue and silver glitter.  Very easy to wear and the glitter adds a little something extra without disturbing the texture of the polish.

As for application, it was very easy to apply.  I do think it gets quite thick so you might have to roll the polish between your hands halfway through application to get the perfect finish.  I was also impressed that the colour seemed to be opaque just after a single coat, great for last minute nail polish changes! Though I would recommend a second coat to make the polish last a little bit longer.

I'm really impressed by the formula of Zoya polishes, I'd definitely consider picking up more shades in the future.  If you're looking to try some shades, make sure you head on over to BigGreenSmile.com.  They sell quite a lot of natural brands so they're definitely worth a good browse!
