October Favourites

october favourites I cannot believe I am writing an October favourites post, this year has absolutely flown by, I do really love this time of year though so I am pleased it's arrived so quickly. I hope you all had an amazing Halloween, when this post goes live I will be in Manchester, most likely nursing a Halloween hangover. This month has been filled with some exciting new favourites and a few old faithful friends, here is what I've been loving for the past month;

First up is my bath and body bits and I cannot get enough of anything fig scented, I think that it's just such a great Autumn scent, I particularly love the Korres Fig Shower Gel, this is amazing, it's fruity and addictive and really conditions the skin as you wash. For hair I cannot get enough of the Tea Tree Shampoo & Conditioner* by Paul Mitchell, this is so fresh and awakening which is perfect for the dark mornings.

Speaking of darker mornings I just can't seem to stop spritzing one of my favourite fragrances of all time Clinique Happy. This is a bright, citrus scent that I'm sure you've all sniffed before, I can't think of any name more suited to this scent. It's such a nostalgic scent for me as this was one of my high school fragrances, I've been loving just wearing this as my everyday scent.

I have two new skincare favourites to share this month which is pretty exciting as I'm normally a bit of a bore with skincare. First up is the Khiel's Ultra Facial Toner, up until I got this I was having a real phase with mists, but after trying this I am now happily converted back to the more traditional toner formula. This stuff is amazing, which is weird because I wasn't really expecting much. It has totally transformed the surface of my skin and really acts as such a good base for my moisturiser. I picked up the No7 Melting Gel Cleanser with one of my No7 £5 off vouchers that you always get in Boots. Again, I was so shocked at how good this was, every single bit of makeup disappeared from my face, and my skin was left feeling so soft and soothed, I've already been back and picked another one of these up to have on hand as I got another voucher, if you have any of the vouchers I would really recommend trying this.

I've really been embracing a more toned down make-up look recently so the Glo & Ray Liner in Redstingy* is the perfect everyday brown shade, this stuff really lasts which is ideal for me as I tend to usually have quite a busy schedule this time of year, and the colour is so flattering. I mentioned the L'Oreal Million Lashes So Couture in my Autumn make-up bag post last week, and I just love this mascara, it gives great volume and separation without looking to clumpy. I'm not normally a lip gloss girl, but the Co Bigelow Vanilla Mint Supreme Lip Shine has me hooked. The taste and freshness of this is amazing and it's so nourishing on the lips, I seriously cannot stop applying this it just tastes and feels too good! Of course Autumn wouldn't be Autumn without a berry nail, and this Urban Outfitters Nail Colour in Raspberry Beret is probably my favourite nail colour ever, it's a creamy raspberry red that looks so elegant on the nails and the formula of these polishes is such good quality.

Finally I can happily announce that I have officially whipped out the winter candles, and my Diptyque Perdigone candle is the perfect scent for this time of year, particularly bonfire night I'd say as it's really smoky and spicy, and obviously the jar itself is beautiful. Last but by no means least is my edible favourite, Sainsbury's Fizzy Fangs, these guys are seriously fizzy and seriously delicious. I literally cannot stop eating them, I even used them as Halloween decorations which I chatted about in my latest Sunday Life post. Not the chicest of snacks but certainly very tasty and very fizzy!

So that concludes my favourite products for October, I am so excited that the countdown to Christmas is upon us, this really is the best time of year. Let me know everything you have been loving recently as there is always room in my basket for some more favourites.
