Patisserie De Bain Bath Fancies

Patisserie De Bain Bath Fancies in Coming Up Roses and Hyacinth

Although I'm more of a shower person, sometimes there's nothing better than unwinding with a lovely bath.  I alway reach into my bath bomb stash for the occasion but this time I'm trying out these beautiful sets from Patisserie De Bain containing 3 hand-made bath fancies.  Just look at the gorgeous packaging!  Whether you're looking for a gift for a friend or you're interested in trying something new, here's what you can expect from Coming Up Roses and Hyacinth.

Patisserie De Bain Bath Fancies in Coming Up Roses

Coming Up Roses is a set of three rose scented bath fancies.  While they all follow the rose scent, they differ slightly with scents such as sugar rose, rose & patchouli and a classic rose but it's hard to tell which is which.  When you drop it into a bath of running water, the rose scent takes over and you're left with a lovely shimmer running through the water.  I found it left my skin feeling very soft and even my hair felt very silky afterwards.  If you're really into the rose scent, this is the one to go for.  I think this would be the perfect gift for someone older.

Patisserie De Bain Bath Fancies in Hyacinth

Unlike Coming Up Roses, Hyacinth features three of the same scented bath fancies so if rose isn't your thing, this one is worth checking out.  I love quite light, fresh floral scents so I definitely prefer it over rose.  A difference I've noticed is once it's in the bath, the scent isn't as overpowering as the rose version.  However, this one provides a much silkier bath experience so I find this one makes up for what the rose one lacks.  The shimmer isn't as prominent as the rose either so if you're not too keen on that, this would be the one to go for.  I'd say this one would suit younger people and it's great to use before a night out if you want your skin to feel super soft.

All in all, it really comes down to personal preference on which set you'd prefer.  I'd say Hyacinth is probably my favourite as I'd prefer softer skin to stronger scents.  If you're interested in any of the sets, you can pick them up for £10 each from Graftons Beauty.
