Jasmine Beauty Products

Jasmine Scented Beauty Products

Now we all have our favourite scents but for me, it has to be jasmine.  A light, white floral scent which seems to be all the rage in beauty products at the moment, not that I'm complaining!  For any of you who enjoy the scent as much as I do, I've pulled together a few of my favourite jasmine scented products.

The most recent jasmine scented products I've tried are from the Liz Earle Tiare & Jasmine range, including their Creamy Shower Nectar and Silky Body Lotion.  I find these are great to start off with if you're not looking for a full blown jasmine scent as they include a mix of tiare, fleur d'oranger, almond milk and sandalwood.  The Tiare & Jasmine Creamy Shower Nectar* feels incredibly soft on the skin with a gentle foam so you really feel the moisture on the skin after rinsing.  Probably one of the most luxurious feeling shower gels I've ever tried!  To follow on, the Tiare & Jasmine Silky Body Lotion* continues the scent while locking in the moisture.  I love that it dispenses just enough product so there isn't any waste as a little goes a long way with this stuff.  It sinks into the skin really quickly without that horrible sticky feeling, it's actually quite like how your skin feels after using the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish!  Lovely stuff.

If you read our blog regularly you'll probably be sick of me mentioning the Diptyque Olene Perfume but it had to be included.  If you're serious about your jasmine, you'll never find a truer scent than Olene.  A little goes a long way which is why my bottle looks hardly used but believe me, this scent gets used pretty much everyday.  Go and have a sniff on your next Space NK trip.

I'd never really tried much from Korres until I heard how much Lisa loved their shower gel range, naturally I had to give it a go and what better way than to try the Korres Jasmine Shower Gel.  Truth be told, the majority of the time I'll be using a budget shower gel but once in a while it's nice to have something extra special.  I'd say scent wise this is probably very close to Diptyque's Olene so if you want a strong jasmine scent, this is the one for you.  I never knew before but it's actually made up of 91.9% natural content which means no mineral oil, parabens, silicones.. basically all the nasty stuff you can name probably won't be in here.  It's also pH neutral, cruelty free and suitable for vegans so it's a pretty good all-rounder.  Not quite as silky soft as the Liz Earle shower nectar though.

While we're on the subject of silky soft skin, I've recently been trying out the Lush Silky Underwear Dusting Powder* to see what I'm missing out on.  Now I wasn't too familiar with dusting powders before but you basically apply it as you would with talc but this time it leaves such a soft feeling on the skin.  Along with baby soft skin, it also has a really strong scent of jasmine mixed with cocoa butter which is seriously relaxing.  If I apply this before bed I instantly nod off to sleep.  While we're on the subject of Lush, if you're from the Glasgow area make sure you check out their brand new store on Buchanan Street, it's amazing!

You would think I've had enough of the scent by now, but last but not least is my Yankee Candle in Midnight Jasmine.  Not only does this smell amazing, it burns so well too compared to my other Yankee Candles so it's definitely one to look our for.

It's safe to say my room now smells pretty amazing after writing this post!  Let me know what your favourite scents and products are.
