Boots Beauty Haul

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Barry M Gelly Nail Paint, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 460 Blushing Mauve

It's been quite a while since my last trip to Boots so with a couple of new launches just out, I decided I would take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer and treat myself to some new products.

The first thing I do when I go into Boots is check out the Collection counter.  I don't know about you but the Boots I go to always has the worst stock of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.  It's just never around in my shade.  So when I do go and a brand new unopened concealer is out, I quickly snap it up while I can.  This is probably my 4th or 5th bottle, nothing quite compares to it.

I realised lately that my lipstick collection is severely lacking in natural looking shades.  It's always bright reds or vampy shades so I spent quite a bit of time around the counters until I settled on the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 460 Blushing Mauve.  It looks quite dark in the container but it's one of the best your lips but better shades I've ever come across.  The formula is very moisturising like a creamsheen lipstick, it's just one of those shades you can pop on and not worry about the application.

Now my main reason for my Boots trip was the new Bourjois lip products.  I'd heard so much about them that it wasn't long before the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 02 Frambourjoise landed in my basket.  I spent quite a bit of time looking at all the shades but I'm glad I settled on Frambourjoise which is a deep pink shade with a slightly reddish tone.  I'm planning to do a full review on it shortly but they are absolutely worth the hype.

Now a normal person would have stopped there but I found myself drawn into the Barry M stand and I decided it was about time to add some new Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly Nail Paints to my collection.  The first shade I picked out was Huckleberry which is a fairly new addition to the collection.  It's just a gorgeous pale blue shade perfect for Spring.  If I had to pick up the blue shade, I had to pick up the green version in the form of Sugar Apple.  Once I'd gotten the pastel shades out of my system, I've been eyeing up the shade Guava for quite some time.  Turquoise is one of my favourite shades and it's unlike any other shade I own.

Overall, a pretty successful Boots trip!  What new products have been on your wishlist lately?
