Yankee Candle Large Jars

Yankee Candle Large Jars in Midnight Jasmine and Midsummers Night

Now that my winter candles are slowly coming to an end, I've welcomed two new additions to my collection.  It’s time to put away the spicy/woody candles and opt for something a little more fresh and light.  For Christmas I received two Yankee Candle Large Jars in Midnight Jasmine and Midsummers Night, both of which I'd never tried before yet both lived up to my expectations.  Here’s a bit more about them.

Jasmine is one of my all time favourite scents so I knew I'd get on with Midnight Jasmine.  It’s from the floral collection which although it usually isn't my go to choice, I absolutely love this one.  It’s notes are water jasmine, sweet honeysuckle, neroli, and mandarin blossom; naturally sweet but not sickly.  It’s very fresh and inoffensive so if really strong scents aren't your thing, you'll love this.  If I'm ever feeling a little run down or I need to relax then this is the one I'd reach for.

One of my favourite Yankee Candle collections is the fresh one.  After loving Turquoise Sky I was after another one in the collection and opted for Midsummers Night.  The best way I could describe it is that it’s a very masculine scent, which personally I really like.  It has notes of musk, patchouli, sage and mahogany cologne; probably something Ron Burgundy would have now that I think about it!  If you have any males in your household fussy about sweet scents, it’s definitely a man friendly scent.

With all Yankee Candle Large Jars, they burn very evenly which is one of my pet peeves about candles.  The fill the room with the scent and compared to your luxury candles, they're usually about half the price.  With my Yankee Candle purchase, I usually get them from Ebay using this seller or through Yankee.co.uk so I’d highly recommend them if you’re looking to get some new candles!
