November Favourites

November Favourites

It’s that time again where all the bloggers share their favourites of the month.  This month I’ve been embracing all things Autumnal, the berry toned lipsticks, spicy candles and all the hot chocolate I can get my hands on.

November Favourites

Probably the most exciting purchase for me has to be the NARS One Night Stand Palette which is absolutely worth the hype.  As a pale person I never thought Laguna would suit me but I’ve really been getting into contouring and trying something new.  My most worn shade from the palette has to be Goulue as it’s sort of a darker berry toned shade and every now and then I’ll add a sweep of the Devotee highlighter to add a little bit of radiance into my skin during the colder months.

Any product which means I can stay in my warm bed for longer is a winner for me.  Instead of spending 5+ minutes rinsing out conditioner in the morning, I spray the L’Oreal Ever Riche Perfect Elixir Mask to my wet hair to give it a little more nourishment.  It literally feels like I’ve used a thick hair mask every morning when it only takes 2 minutes to spray and rinse out.

As I said before, I’ve been embracing the darker tones this month and my nail polish of choice has to be Avon Vamp It Up.  It’s a gorgeous, glossy burgundy shade which has amazing staying power and adds a little bit of colour to my dark wardrobe without being too bold.

November Favourites

As you may remember, a few months ago I went a little crazy in the Space NK sale and picked up a few Diptyque winter candles from previous year collections.  This month I finally got to swap the summer candles for wintery alternatives and my favourite has to be Diptyque’s Amber Oud Candle.  Even though it’s quite small, the scent fills the room so quickly and has the most gorgeous spicy/woody scent.  It’s just the absolute perfect winter candle and I’m so gutted that they no longer sell it.

For skincare, I’ve been loving my Wild About Beauty Botanical Skin Prep Serum* which has really helped nourish all the dry patches on my skin to help my makeup apply better.  It just makes your skin feel so smooth and soft and adds a little extra layer of protection to the skin for the cold months.

My most worn perfume this month has to be Diptyque Vetyverio which I also picked up in that Space NK sale.  I’d normally never consider picking it up as originally, it’s quite expensive but as it was reduced to £20 from £70 due to their change in packaging I couldn’t resist a bargain like that.  Plus I much prefer this packaging than the one they use now.  I’d say it’s definitely a daytime scent, very floral and slightly fruity but woody at the same time.

Last but not least, I had to include these Hot Chocolate Stirrers in my favourites.  You simply heat up a mug of milk, put one of these stirrers in the mug, swirl it around and you have the perfect hot chocolate.  Though as these are my last two, I may need to make another trip to the german supermarket..

That’s all my favourites for the month of November.  As sad as I am to see Autumn finish, I can’t wait for all the Christmas festivities!  Now, time for another hot chocolate.
