Weleda Skincare Minis

Weleda Skincare Minis

If you've been wondering where Lisa has been, she’s currently on holiday in Vegas, so thank you for putting up with all my posts for the time being!  Sadly I won't be jetting off to a lovely hot country this summer but for those of you who are, I've got you covered.  When you're travelling the last thing you want to do is carry around full sized products, especially at the risk of a skincare explosion over your favourite holiday dress.  The natural and organic skincare brand Weleda now offers a full range of miniature essentials sold individually so you can mix and match to create the perfect combination.  We've tried out quite a few Weleda* products so we'll recommend more throughout the post, but here are 5 of their best selling minis.

I was really intrigued by the Citrus Deodorant as I’ve never seen a deodorant in a liquidy spray form before.  I think this would be really good to keep in your bag if you need a little freshening up throughout the day.  Of course it isn’t an anti-perspirant so it won’t protect you from dryness but it does have a very strong citrusy scent which instantly makes you feel a lot fresher.

I’ve really been enjoying the Weleda Skin washes so I was looking forward to trying the Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash.  They’re basically very rich and creamy body washes that leaves your skin feeling so lovely and soft.  Rose isn’t usually my scent of choice but the Wild Rose scent is more appealing than your traditional rose scent.  If Rose isn’t your favourite, I’d highly recommend the Citrus version.  They’re also suitable for vegans.

Weleda’s Skin Food is one of their best selling products, even Adele is a fan.  It’s basically a skin repair cream which helps moisturise all of the dry areas on your skin.  I don’t think you’d get much use by using it as a full body moisturiser with the travel size but on particularly dry areas such as hands, elbows and knees it’s perfect.  I have to say I’m not a fan of the scent at all but it does leave your skin feeling nourished and protected.

I’ve spoke previously on how sensitive my skin has been lately and the Calendula Face Cream has really helped soothe my skin.  It’s a very lightweight cream and although it’s targeted towards babies, it’s suitable for adults with sensitive skin.  It does have a slight scent but I haven’t found it to irritate my skin at all.

I’m loving any kind of oils at the moment so the Lavender Body Oil came at the right time.  If I’m having a bit of trouble drifting to sleep I reach for this lovely oil and before you know it, it’s the next day.  I find it to be really soothing and a little goes a long way so this mini size should last you quite a long time.  If you need an oil for the face, the Almond Soothing Facial Oil is one of my favourites too.

If you visit the Weleda website you’ll see that you can mix and match all of these products.  Theres a ton of scent choices of each product so if you weren’t a fan of Lavender but love the sound of the product, you can choose another scent which you prefer.  Even if you're not planning a trip away, the travel sizes are still a great way to try the product out before buying the full size!
