Nude Skincare Oils

Nude Skincare Perfect Cleansing Oil for Face & Eyes and Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil

As someone with oily skin, we’ve always been told to stay away from anything to do with oils. Recently I’ve gone against the myth and the end results have been amazing, my skin hasn’t looked this good in a long time.  Nude Skincare is a brand which believes in using ingredients which are natural with the power of using probiotics and omega oils to provide amazing results.  Essentially feeding your skin the nutrients it needs to repair the cells for younger, clearer looking skin.  I've been trying out two products from the range, here’s what I thought of them.

A review of Nude Skincare Perfect Cleansing Oil for Face & Eyes

I’d never used a cleansing oil prior to the Nude Skincare Perfect Cleansing Oil*, I’d often think they’d leave my skin with an oily layer but this wasn’t the case at all.  I don’t use any foaming cleansers anymore so this product was a perfect addition to my morning routine.  It doesn’t contain mineral oils or sulphates either which means it won’t dry your skin out.

You simply apply two to three pumps on a dry face, add a little water to form a sort of cleansing milk and rinse off clean, it’s really simple to use.  This product can also be used to take off make up but to be honest, I think it fell short on that aspect.  It’s possible I was wearing far too much make up but I think you’d be better taking off your make up first then using this cleanser for the best results.

Since using this cleanser, my skin has felt really soft and moisturised which makes applying make up a lot easier in the mornings.  If you’re looking for a gentle cleanser I’d give this one a shot.

A review of Nude Skincare ProGenius Treatment Oil

I’ve tried a lot of oil treatments recently so the Nude Skincare ProGenius Treatment Oil* had a lot to live up to! My main skin concern is acne scarring so serums and oils which have repairing qualities are definitely what I need right now.

The signature treatment oil is along the same lines as Estee Lauders Advanced Night Repair, if you unscrew the bottle it has the same sort of applicator which makes for easy application.  You can use this in the morning and mix in with your moisturiser but I prefer to use it as an overnight treatment so I can see the difference it makes in the morning.

I apply this quite generously all around each section of the face, working it into the skin for an even application.  If there are some areas which appear more damaged I’ll often use a tiny bit extra on them if any product is left in the applicator.

I’m very happy with the results of the treatment oil.  I’ve found my skin is much softer and smoother as a result and the redness around my acne scarring has reduced dramatically.  So much that I’d feel a lot more comfortable just wearing concealer and skipping foundation altogether.

If you feel like your skin is looking a little bit dull or dehydrated and needs a pick me up, give these products a try!
