Empties #2

It’s that time again here on Beauty Aesthetic when I get to give myself a big pat on the back for being a good beauty hoarder and using up products.  Literally nothing makes me smugger (and sometimes sadder) than using up products, especially since my bathroom cabinet is a little overflowing from Christmas!

Sephora Collection Monoi Shower Gel & Perfume: I loved this range so much that I dedicated a whole post to it which you can check out if you like! Next time I’m near a Sephora I’d love to try out some more of the fragrances from this range.

Nivea Daily Essentials Eye Make-up Remover: This basically did exactly what it said on the tin.  It was really cheap and didn’t irritate my eyes, but it wasn’t the best at removing my slightly OTT panda eyes after a night out. For the money I paid for this I can’t complain, saying that I don’t think I’ll be picking this up again.

No 7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water: This is hands down my favourite cleanser ever! This has already been re-purchased and will always be re-purchased.  If you have oily/problematic skin then this is your one way ticket to skin saviour!

Burt’s Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion*: I’d definitely classify this as more of a cream than a lotion.  That aside this was a rich buttery treat that I loved slathering on after my night time bath. The smell was really fresh and soothing and lasted long after application. I would consider purchasing this once the rest of my body lotion stash runs out!

Marc Jacobs Oh Lola Shower Gel: I got this alongside the perfume quite a while ago. I really liked using this as a bubble bath as it filled my entire home with the sweet scent!

Good Things Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser*: This is another product I’ve already repurchased.  This is a worth a try for its scent alone, it smells AMAZING and makes mornings just that little bit sweeter. In terms of conditioning my skin, it did work well at keeping my shine under control and kept my skin soft.

Biore Pore Perfect Scrub: I had such high hopes for this product as I love other Biore products, but I was so disappointed with this. It had no effect whatsoever on my skin, and wasn’t the nicest product to use either.  Really messy and a little sticky, not for me I’m afraid.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (Shade 3): If there’s one thing you can bet on, it’s that I have at least two of these in my make-up bag at all times!

Love Chloe Shower Gel: This was a sad one to use up, as it was my special occasions  shower gel and bubble bath, but the time had to come. I’m pondering whether or not to invest in this again as its just so sophisticated!

I'd love to know what you guys have been using up recently, have you tried any of the products above?
