A'Kin Hand, Nail & Cuticle Creme

A'Kin Hand, Nail and Cuticle Creme

If you live in the UK you’ll know how horrible the weather has been lately, here in Scotland we actually had our first sunny day in weeks yesterday.  All this horrible weather has caused my skin to become very dry and dull and in need of a bit of moisture.  When it comes to moisturisation, the part of our body which is probably overlooked the most is our hands.  They go through everything so it is really important to keep them moisturised and taken care of.

I've been really interested in natural skincare and was recently introduced to the A’Kin range.  The range is crafted in Australia using a mix of pure, plant based ingredients which are kind to the skin.  It’s free from all the nasties such as parabens, silicones, sulphates while being suitable for vegans and cruelty free.

What I like about this product is that it not only moisturises your hands but works with nails and cuticles too which is perfect for someone like me who likes to change their nail polish every 2 days!  It has a very lovely natural scent of Lavender, Geranium and Jojoba which is very subtle and won’t overpower any perfumes.  If you have sensitive skin it also comes in an unscented version!

A main selling point to me is that it doesn't leave you with that horrible sticky/oily residue on your hands like other hand creams I've used.  There’s no waiting about for it to dry so you can just pop it out at any time if your hands need a bit of moisture.
