Boots Conditioning Nail Polish Remover

Boots Conditioning Nail Polish Remover

As much as I love putting on nail polish, taking it off is usually a nightmare. I change my nail polish pretty much every 2 days and I’m never seen without it on so you can imagine how much polish remover I go through!  I ran out of polish remover a couple of weeks ago so I dashed to Boots just to pick up a cheap one, if I change the colour that often there’s no point in spending a fortune!  The product I picked up was the Boots own Conditioning Nail Polish Remover at £1.30 for a 150ml bottle, it was literally the first one I saw at a reasonable price so I headed to the checkout with cotton wool.  This is the best nail polish remover I’ve ever used by far!

The first thing that surprised me about the product when I took it home was the smell.  I'm not saying you should go around smelling nail polish remover but this smells so good! It’s enriched with apricot so it has a lovely fruity scent which I’ve never found in any other polish remover.

I expected that because it was an own brand product the performance wouldn't be great but again I was completely surprised.  Normally after using polish remover I’d have a mountain of cotton wool at the end but with this one I only needed one.  One cotton wool ball managed to easily take off 10 fingers worth of thick nail polish and for glitter nail polish I could usually get it off with 2 cotton wool balls.

The ingredients include Apricot Kernel Oil and Pro-Vitamin B5 which helps keep your nails moisturised and won't dry them out.  I haven't experienced any broken/weak nails or anything like that.  It does contain acetone which some people don't like but Boots do an acetone free nail polish remover too at the same price but in my opinion it doesn't compare to this one in terms of quality.

I’m forever surprised by how good Boots own brand products are and you should definitely go out and purchase this!
