Everyday Makeup Look

Everyday Makeup Look

As much as I love experimenting with different eyeshadows and lipsticks, there are some days when all I want to do is keep it simple.  I’m having such a bad time with my skin at the moment so the last thing I should be doing is covering it in tons of products! I also decided to change things up a bit and straighten my hair for the first time since January, madness! I was also meeting Lisa at Starbucks for a lovely Caramel Macchiato and running late as usual so here is what I chose to put on today.

Foundation - Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions in Fresh Alabaster
Powder - Rimmel Stay Matte in Transparent
Mascara - Clinique Lash Power in Black
Eyeshadow - Tiny bit of Naked and Buck from the UD Naked Palette
Lips - MAC Lipstick in Angel

I decided to ditch the concealer, eyeliner, blusher and bronzer altogether for a fresh faced look.  Even though I have terrible skin at the moment my foundation is amazing at covering up imperfections on it’s own so I can ditch concealer all together.  Rimmel Stay Matte is an all time favourite of mine and Lisa’s which I’m sure we’ll be doing a post on soon.

I go through stages where I use eyeliner religiously then other times I think I can get away without it so for today I left it at home and chose my favourite Clinique mascara to lengthen my lashes and keep them very feminine and separated and used the naked palette to make my eyes look a little less tired.  Last but not least I decided that if I skipped all the other colourful products I’d at least put on a “your lips but better” lipstick and Angel by MAC is one of my favourite natural colours to put on.
