Bath-time with Bomb Cosmetics

Bath-time with Bomb Cosmetics

Hi guys, so I’ve been feeling a little under the weather recently, and the only thing that ever really makes me feel better is a right good bath!
Now when it comes to bath products, my heart well and truly belongs to Lush, however after a recent trip to Edinburgh my better half returned with a gorgeous little cupcake bath bomb from a company called Bomb Cosmetics. So I thought I’d give it a try…

So alongside the bomb, I took a little snap at the other products I used to try and relieve my cold;

No.7 Gentle Foaming Face Wash £8.00 - I picked this up using a cheeky little no.7 £5 voucher, it gives a really good simple clean, if you’re wanting any added extras from your face wash then I wouldn’t recommend this, it is really gentle though.

The Body Shop Candied Ginger Body Butter £5.00 - I got this gorgeous butter in the Christmas sale, I love the body shop body butters and I was really happy to add this to my collection. Definitely a night time scent!

Rituals Yogi Flow Shower Foam £6.50 - I got this in the December Glossy Box and think it’s lovely. Its got a really grown up scent and leaves my skin really soft.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub £4.95 - I’ve featured this a few times on Beauty Aesthetic as it’s one of my all time favourites, and it has literally lasted forever, it does exactly what it says on the packaging, scrubs my lips…although I do have to try and stop myself from eating it as it tastes so good!

Anyway, ramble aside on to the bath bomb…

Bath Blaster £2.29 Bomb Cosmetics

Obviously the first thing I was thinking when I saw this was how cute it was, but also I was thinking ‘you’re just not lush are you’…I think the fact that the blaster didn’t have the bold scent that comes with lush products as well left me slightly hesitant. However, I was proved wrong as when I dropped this in my bath I was faced with the most grown up, gorgeous bath time scent ever! Don’t get me wrong I love my sickly sweet scents, but this was a refreshing change, it was almost perfume like, so I’d definitely say not to be put off by the lack of scent beforehand as these really do come alive when in water.

My bath was transformed into a rich milky heaven jam packed with essential oils (depending on your bomb depends on the oils, all the details/ingredients are on the website)

My skin was left feeling super-soft and healthy and the scent was still lingering on my skin the next day.

I really enjoyed using this and it’s opened my narrow mind towards bath products so I’ll definitely be experimenting with more from this company, that however, does not mean for a second that I’m willing to give up my lush addiction ha ha!

Have you tried any of the Bomb Cosmetics range? And what’s your favourite bath time treats?

  1. I got this bath bomb too. Because I'm a lush addict I wasn't that fussed about using it but I loved it! The oil it left on your skin was so moisturising and smelled lovely x
