Korres Haul

Hi lovelies, there is no denying it…winter is here! But alas it’s not all doom and gloom as with the cold comes something that causes me great excitment…festive scents! Personally, there really is nothing better than a warm, spicey winter scent. So on a recent trip to a local supermarket I had a bit of a ‘moment’ when I saw that Korres was on a 3 for 2 offer, how could I resist? Thats right, I couldnt.

For those of you who arent familiar with Korres, they are a Greek skincare brand who pride themselves on being beautifully organic and natural and offer an extensive range of beauty and cosmetic products…hurray!

I wanted to inject some festive punch into my bathroom cabinet so opted for 3 gloriously festive products…

Korres Vanilla & Cinnamon Shower Gel 250ml £7.50

What better way to feel festive than to wake up to a cosy smelling shower gel everyday? This smells gorgeous, what I particularly like about it is the natural scent, unlike other artificial vanilla and cinnamon scents than can be a little overpowering and sickeningly sweet, this smells raw and natural and leaves a warm scent on my skin.
The consistency is thick and creamy and it contains wheat proteins which apparently leave a protective layer on your skin, does it do this? Who knows, is it a  lovely shower gel? Definitely.
Other good things inside include: Aloe, Vitamins C & E, Zinc and Antioxidant Enzymes. There are also anti ageing properties in there too, so really with all this lovely stuff and a fabulous scent you really cannot go wrong with popping this in your shower!

Korres Fig Body Milk 250ml £9.50

I’ve never really been a matchy matchy person, so I decided to opt for a  Fig scented body milk (although I do really want the vanilla and cinnamon one too), and I was equally delighted at its festive warmth, this is slightly stronger smelling than the shower gel, but it clings beautifully to the skin all day and I’ve had a few comments about the scent, all positive of course.
This claims to awaken the skin and give it the ultimate moisture boost, with impressive ingredients including; provitamin B5, shea butter, jojoba oil, aloe, vitamins C & E and zinc.
Is this a miracle worker? Maybe. My skin is left feeling soft and supple long after application and the scent is with you all day. I would definitley reccomend this to anyone who loves strong spicey scents and gentle moisturisation.

Korres Wild Rose Lip Butter 6g £6.00

I’d like to introduce you all to my new favourite lip product! Expect to see this in my November favourites ladies, this is a wonderful product. As some of you may know I have a bit of a ‘thing’ (obsession) for lip balms, so when faced with a great quality lip balm that is infused with a dark pigmented sheen I would be lying if I said I didn't have a ‘moment’ in the supermarket aisle.
This has it all, moisture, colour and a healthy sheen and is in a handy little pot that you can take anywhere. The lovely stuff inside includes shea butter and rice wax. Personally, I think this is a bargain as its really a 2 in 1 product which is totally buildable, also it’s on offer at House of Fraser right now and is only £5.10 - total steal!

So there you go my little beauties, i’d like to quickly say sorry for my absence recently, those of you who are students I’m sure will understand the amount of free time a degree and a part time job can swallow up, so I promise to try and keep my posts more frequent, guides honour!

Have any of you guys tried Korres products recently? I’d love to know how the body scrubs are so leave me a little mini review if you’v tried them!
