Nars Night Series

Recently I’ve been addicted to buying nail polish.  Just this month I would say I’ve already purchased at least 4 polishes and it’s only the 12th of November.  I guess this obsession would come from my mum, who for as long as I remember is always applying nail polish every few days (mostly from my collection) so at least someone else is getting use out of my ridiculous collection I’ve built up over the years.  I do sometimes feel a bit guilty about how many polishes I rarely use too, even my O.P.I Black Shatter has had enough and decided to shatter itself in the bottle! But still, when I hear about so many amazing collections which have come out recently, like the O.P.I Muppet Collection, I can’t resist snatching them up as soon as possible.

I was doing some retail therapy with Lisa a while ago and we stopped by SpaceNK to look at all the products we can’t justify spending money on and we headed over to the Nars section where we saw the new Nars Night Series in the flesh.  Four absolutely beautiful shades which would be perfect for someone who may be shy to wear dark makeup on the eyes but enjoys a nice dark nail colour now and then.

The one which caught my eye the most and ended up buying was the shade Night Breed, a black nail polish with very small silver glitter particles which looks like a cluster of stars in the night sky (I apologise for the cheesiness there).

After a couple of weeks admiring the polish I decided to purchase it from ASOS, having recently just been given free next day delivery till Christmas, so I know I wouldn’t have to wait long for it to arrive.

Finally it arrived when I was at uni so I couldn’t wait to go home and put it on.  After applying the polish I realised the silver glitter applied a lot less dramatic than it looks in the bottle, but I quite like that it’s quite subtle and not too over the top, perfect for a night out.

I hope you enjoyed this post, we’re taking a short hiatus from blogging for a week or two due to us being extremely busy with uni work.  For the mean time you’ll still be able to catch up with us on our twitter: @lisaandsami to find out whats going on and when we’re back we’ll have lots of exciting posts for you all, including our winter giveaway!
